Batumi Oil Terminal congratulated its colleagues on the Oilman’s Day

The day of oil and gas industry workers is celebrated the first week-end of September. Following many years tradition, Batumi Oil Terminal congratulated their colleagues and celebrated with an event on September 1, 2012. This special event, included competitions between the Terminal divisions in indoor soccer, tug of war, weight lifting and chess. The winners of the competitions obtained valuable prizes. It was especially notable that the winner in weight lifting was the 54 years old Nodar Shervashidze, who defeated his younger colleagues significantly. The employees of Batumi Sea Port and Batumi Oil Terminal – Lukyanov Michael, Varshanidze Tengiz, Alikadze Besarion obtained certificates of honor and gratitude from the parent company JSC KazTransOil. “We are happy to celebrate this holiday with our colleagues for the fourth consecutive year . Batumi Oil Terminal, which has a 130 year long history, may be proud of its dynasty of oil industry workers. The celebration of this day is a tribute to all those, who participated and participate in the daily development of the most important industry in the economy”, stated the General Director of Batumi Oil Terminal Abay Turikpenbayev. In February 2008, JSC KazTransOil, a subsidiary of JSC KazMunayGas acquired Batumi Oil Terminal. JSC KazTransOil also acquired the exclusive rights to manage Batumi Sea Port (“BSP”).
