The Judo Team of Batumi Oil Terminal demonstrated the best results from the beginning of 2012

Batumi Oil Terminal (“BOT”) supports various social projects. One of such projects is BOT judo team, which is functioning from the establishment of the company. The Judo team includes about one hundred pupils, which are guided by the honored coach of the judo and sambo national team of Georgia Mr. Suliko Peikrishvili. The pupils have already demonstrated the best results from the beginning of 2012, namely: 1. Bachana Bolkvadze took the first place in Georgian Youth Judo Championship, which was held on February 24-26 in Tbilisi, and the second place in International Youth Judo Tournament on March 12-14 in Antalya. He is preparing for the European Youth Championship at this stage. 2. Leri Bedinadze – became sambo champion of Georgia. This sporting competition took place on February 27-29 in Tbilisi. Nowadays he is training for the European Championship, which will be held on April 3 in Romania. 3. Amiran Papinashvili – took the third medal place on the Judo Grand Prix in Paris. Amiran Papinashvili has the Olympic license and will participate in London Olympics. 4. Rezo Tsulukidze – took the first place in Georgian Youth Wrestling on March 8-10 in Bolnisi, and also the third medal place in the Judo Youth Competition on February 3-5 in Tbilisi.
