Oil Berths

The BOT loading complex is its most important facility. It consists of three berths and the conventional buoy mooring (CBM). The oil berths area also includes the environmental laboratory, which conducts a constant monitoring of the environment, as well as the waste water treatment facility.

Berth No 1 can handle tankers for loading of all types of crude oil and oil products except LPG. The berth capacities are as follows.

Maximum deadweight of the vessel – 45 000 t

Length – 200 m

Depth – 12.0 m

Safe draft – 10.8 m

Berth No 2 can handle tankers for loading of all types of oil products including LPG. The berth capacities are as follows.

Maximum deadweight of the vessel – 16 000 t

Length – 140 m

Depth – 10.2 m

Safe draft – 9.5 m

Berth No 3 can handle tankers for loading of all types of oil products. The berth capacities are as follows.

Maximum deadweight of vessel – 25 000 t

Length – 165 m

Depth – 10.2 m

Safe draft – 9.5 m

The CBM is capable to serve vessels for loading of crude oil through two underwater hoses. The CBM capacities are as follows.

Maximum deadweight of the vessel – 140 000 t

Length – 250 m

Depth – 15.5 m - 20 m

Safe draft – 13.5 m

Each berth is equipped with the vapor filtering system, which prevents hydrocarbon vapors emission during the loading operations.
